    We are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager with 15+ years experience having proven track record of generating sales and building long term strategic relationships with clients for Technology Consulting and IT service projects in the auto and manufacturing sectors.

    The ideal candidate will be an expert in the automotive and manufacturing sectors and have a proven sales track record in the above industries with reliable network which can be leveraged. Must be a self-starter with high energy, drive and enthusiasm and must have experience leading teams to close deals. Experience selling Analytics solutions will be an asset. Must have knowledge of Industry 4.0, IIoT and other manufacturing solutions (MES, PLM etc).

    The position is based in the Midwest – (Chicagoland) area.

    Job requirements: Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field, plus at least fifteen (15) years of sales experience with proven results

    Experience must include:

    • Deep experience and understanding of the manufacturing industry value chain
    • Experience in selling Digital/ Analytics/Engineering solutions to the manufacturing industry
    • Proven ability to generate revenue, meet sales quotas, and expand a company’s market reach
    • Utilizing Microsoft Suite of software and tools, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com to create reports to update and manage opportunity status
    • Demonstrated management experience, including independently managing business discussions with senior managers of prospective customers
    • Creating persuasive proposals with the technical team and SMEs to present to the prospective clients
    • Working with distributed global outsourcing and offshore teams
    • Managing Selling Cycle of business opportunities with prospects
    • Generate prospects independently using various mechanisms, such as LinkedIn or email campaigns and trade shows
    • Coordinate negotiations with purchasing teams to finalize business
